Hello lovely friends! 😀
If you’re new to my blog, TBR Finds is where I post my recently added books on my Goodreads to-read shelf, I also add details about the book in the hopes that someone reading might also find it interesting. Recently, yours truly finally gave in and created a NetGalley account. 😆

So, the books I’ll be mentioning are books I discovered in NetGalley. Click on the title to lead you on their respective Goodreads page. All book cover images credits to Goodreads. Here are the books that caught my interest recently:
1.) Life on Repeat by Amy Larson Marble
Details: 20 ratings -> 17 reviews -> 3.90 stars
Publication Date: February 20, 2020

Reason/s for interest: This book is under the ‘Read Now’ section and the first book I downloaded from NetGalley. The cover isn’t that good but the title totally catches my attention. Part of the blurb that interested me the most: “How would you live your life if you knew it wasn’t your only one? Would you do anything differently if you knew you would have to do it all again?” I love premises like this. Can’t wait. 😀
2.) Nowhere on Earth by Nick Lake
Details: 132 ratings -> 55 reviews -> 3.76 stars
Publication Date: May 26, 2020

Reason/s for interest: This book is also under the ‘Read Now’ section and the second book I downloaded on NetGalley. I love the cover but the main hook is the premise: Emily found a little boy (Aidan) wandering in the woods. She knows she needs to help him find his way home. But getting home is no easy matter, especially with Emily finds out that Aidan isn’t even from Earth. Sounds so cute. 😀
3.) Happily Whatever After by Stewart Lewis
Details: 13 ratings -> 8 reviews -> 3.46 stars
Publication Date: July 28, 2020

Reason/s for interest: This book is also under the ‘Read Now’ section and the third book I downloaded on NetGalley. The cover and story is cute, there are pets in the story. I wanted to read a cutesy romance and this seems to fit the bill. Also, the publishing date is still 4 months away so I have enough time. Right? 😀
4.) The Order of the Pure Moon Reflected in Water by Zen Cho
Details: 63 ratings -> 41 reviews -> 4.10 stars
Publication Date: June 23, 2020

Reason/s for interest: This book is under the ‘Available For Request’ section and my first ever book request on NetGalley. At the moment that I’m writing this post, status is still pending. I don’t have high hopes to be accepted because I just created my account but very excited for this book. 😆 O.M.G. That cover is amazing! 🥰 And the premise: family wuxia fantasy that combines the vibrancy of old school martial arts movies with characters drawn from the margins of history. I got hooked on Chinese light novels last 2018 and ever since then, I continuously read them. They are generally long but this one is short. Can’t wait! 😀
5.) The Human Son by Adrian J. Walker
Details: 10 ratings -> 10 reviews -> 4.20 stars
Publication Date: April 28, 2020

Reason/s for interest: This book is also under the ‘Available For Request’ section but I didn’t request for it. I did add it on my Goodreads though. Also the publication date felt so near and I felt like it would be pushing it if I add another book on my NetGalley shelf. This is Dystopia and Science Fiction. It has a kid on it with a futuristic setting, so I’m in. 🙂

Again, as a disclaimer: the details of the books are only reliable on the time I posted this post because they would have surely changed after some days. I didn’t go crazy on my first try of NetGalley, haha. But it was fun browsing the catalog. On my last TBR Finds post my to-read shelf contains 376 books. At the moment the books on my to-read shelf on Goodreads is uhm… 394. 😮
