I’m back!❤

Hello! It’s been a while.✌

My last post here is last February. I even missed the anniversary of my blog.😿 By the way, I achieved my one year of blogging last March 12.🎂🎉 BUT WordPress didn’t notify me about it, WHY?😤😭

I had a goal of posting a book review here for every book that I’ve read. I guess I can say now that it was a fail.😭 Though, I was consistent on posting my reviews on Goodreads. 😆 Here’s my account, feel free to add me: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/55751161-angie

It was a busy few months for me. But I managed to read books, here’s my Goodreads challenge to keep you up to date on my reading:

Finally, today I have time to visit my blog and update my social media accounts.😎

I was away for so long but still when I checked my notifs, there was a lot who started following me and my old friends are still following me. Thank you so much! I’ll try my best to post regularly again.😍😘💞

January 2017 Wrap Up

So, January is done. I don’t know where time went. Can we just pause everything? I feel like time is moving sooo fast.😱

This month I reached my 10th month of blogging.🎉

Also, I turned 27 years old last January 22. 🎂 *I’m a bit scared of the 30’s but.. life goes on.*

I promised to post a book review for each book that I will read and I succeeded! 👊

One major change for this month is my work schedule. I now work from Thursdays to Mondays. That weekend shift was not really my favorite. I’m the only one in the office and about 3 people on the same floor. It was creepy. 😭

Now, I don’t know how I did it but I managed to read 17 books this month.🙌💜

I promised to not read that much straight up NA Romance this year but I ended up reading 6. 😁

1. Easy Love – 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5

2. Easy Charm – 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5

3. Easy Melody – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

4. Sway – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

5. Get Me Off – 🌟🌟.5

6. Billionaire Boss’s Baby – 🌟🌟.5

This is still NA Romance but with an M/M aspect added on it. If you’re unfamiliar with it, M/M indicates romance between two adult guys. That’s what I think it means anyway, lol. Not sure if I got it right.😸

7. Just A Bit Confusing – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

8. Just A Bit Ruthless – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

9. Him – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

10. Leo Loves Aries – 🌟🌟🌟.5

I tried the Mafia themed books and it wasn’t good. 😿

11. Monster In His Eyes – 🌟🌟🌟

12. The Gun Runner – 🌟🌟.5

13. Billionaire Mafia Boss’s Baby – 🌟🌟.5

14. Ruthless People – 🌟🌟🌟

So these three are some of the hyped up books on my shelf that I’m wary or scared to read. It took a lot of mind conditioning before I convinced myself to read this books, lol. 😁

15. Falling Kingdoms – 🌟🌟🌟.5

16. Shadow And Bone – 🌟🌟🌟.5

17. Dark Matter – 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5

So, that’s my whole January. It was a great month. Another year for me.😄💜

How was your month friends?🙌

TBR Finds #1 (2017)

Hello world! 🙋

It’s been a while since I posted a TBR finds post (that was redundant, lol) on my blog. So for those who haven’t encountered this, it’s just me featuring the recent books I added on my Goodreads to-read shelf. Click on the title to lead you on their respective Goodreads page.
Here they are:

1. The Secret History by Donna Tartt

– I added this because it has the “how to get away with murder” vibe. Not sure if I’m correct. 😁
2. Legacy of Kings by Eleanor Herman

– I promised to read a lot of fantasy this year. My first two tries are not that great but hopefully this one will be great. ❤

3. Sabriel by Garth Nix

– I watched a booktube video praising this book and I think it’s also a fantasy book. ❤

4. The Hogwarts Collection  by J.K. Rowling

This one I added for nostalgia purposes. I haven’t read The Cursed Child and I’m not sure I ever will but this book (collection of snippets) I will surely read.👍

5. Backward Glass by David Lomax

I have seen this on one of the Top Ten Tuesday underrated books post. The concept of travelling through time using mirrors is intriguing. We’ll see if it’s good.
6. The Keeper of Lost Things by Ruth Hogan

Those covers are sooo pretty and adorable. Hopefully it will be a great story. This is not yet published so I might wait for a little while for this.😸
On the side note, my work sched changed. I’m a bit stressed but still fighting.👊

My Bookish Update (Jan1-12)

Today is my 10th blog monthsary! 🎉🎉🎉

Two more months and I’ll reach my 1st anniversary! Wow, time flies too fast. 💜

I just realized that I didn’t post my December Wrap up.:'(

Anyway, for this year 2017:

1. I will beat my Goodreads challenge: 150 books. 👊

2. I will post a review for each book that I’ve read, both on Goodreads and here on WordPress.🙋

3. I will read fantasy, science fiction, suspense/thriller and a lot more genres that I don’t usually read. By the way, I usually read New Adult and Paranormal romance. I will still read them but I will prioritize the ones that I’ve been scared of.😆

4. I will be more active on tags and memes and comments and likes on posts.😸

5. I will finish the series that I started but never continued. This will apply for series starters that I love but for some unknown reason I did not continue.✌

And here are the books I’ve read since January 1:

Click the title for my review on the book.:)

1. Falling Kingdoms – 🌟🌟🌟.5

2. Him – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

3. Just a Bit Confusing – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

4. Just a Bit Ruthless – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

5. Shadow and Bone – 🌟🌟🌟.5

6. Dark Matter – 🌟🌟🌟🌟.5

It was an amazing time of reading since this year started. I’m just pumped to binge read. I love this mood of mine.😘

It’s a bit scary to post a review for every book that I finished. All you guys will know what I’m reading, haha.😁 But I am determined to accomplish this.👊

How are you guys? Any book recommendations? 🙋💜

Hello world!🙋

It’s actually not yet 2017 here, 1 more hour.

But by then I’ll be busy jumping and screaming my head off, so I’m posting now, lol. In our country, there’s a belief/superstition that if you jump high (like super high) you’ll get taller. I know it doesn’t have a scientific basis but it’s some sort of tradition for people to go jumping when the clock strikes 12.;)

On this post I’ll list my 2016 milestones:

1. I started this blog: March 12😎

– OMG! I never had so much fun until I put on my girl panties and decided to start a book blog. I love the book blogging community. I met a lot of good friends and friendly people all over the world.🌎

All the books I discovered just because of blogging. This is where I realized that I’m not alone on my obsession with books and having a crush on a fictional character is totally NORMAL.😛

I’ve been blogging for 9 months but I can’t see myself stopping. I love blogging and talking about books.💞

2. I created a Goodreads account: May (my account – shameless plug😁)

– I started blogging by March and have heard about Goodreads but it was not until May when I decided to finally try it.

At first, I felt like it was a hassle but when I got comfortable using it, there was no going back.😝

This site is the reason that I discovered a lot of books and my TBR increased. But I love it!💜

3. Finally got a job: August 12😁

– This is the year when I finally got a job (that I like).😸

Having a job affected my blogging time but hopefully next year I’ll be able to be more consistent and not just post weekly and monthly updates. I’ll try my hardest.👊

PS: I recently have my hair colored. 😺

November 2016 Wrap Up

So, this is my suuuper late November Wrap Up. ✌
I’ve been stressed and I got sick at the beginning of December and sprinkle some laziness, so I’m soooory… 🙈

Anyway because of my stress at work, I sort of resorted to binge reading, haha.😸

This month of November, I was able to read: 18 books.🎉

I started a paranormal/urban fantasy series. It was an engaging read, I just can’t tolerate the focus on s**. So I think after book 4, I can’t continue this series anymore.

Whooohooo! It’s December! Just a bit more days before Christmas.🎅

The weather is making me lazy, I was not able to post a book review for any of this book. 😧

But you can see/read my thoughts about these books on my goodreads account and you can also add me as friend there 😘

Happy Holidays! I love Christmas! I want bookS as gifts.😍

My Bookish Update (Nov13-27)

Hello! It’s been a while since I logged in on WordPress and I’m glad to finally have a time to do so.🙋💜

These past few days was sooo stressful, I feel like I’m drowning.😭 I realized that when I’m stressed I tend to jump into books easily. This resulting for me to be able to read 10 books since  Nov 13. You can see on that number how stressed yours truly is.😧 I’m so grateful for books that even though I feel like slipping into a coma to forget things, books still managed to make me smile, laugh and see a brighter side of life. I’m being melodramatic and yes I still feel stressed and pressured but not that much.:D
So here are the books that kept me sane these past few days:

As you can see, these 7 books are all paranormal romance or urban fantasy: vampires, shifters, immortals. They are so out of this world that I was able to forget my anxiety.👍

1. Desire Untamed (Feral Warriors#1) by Pamela Palmer – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

2. Obsession Untamed (Feral Warriors#2) by Pamela Palmer – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

3. Passion Untamed (Feral Warriors#3) by Pamela Palmer – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

4. Rapture Untamed (Feral Warriors#4) by Pamela Palmer – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

5. Ella and the Beast by S.E. Smith – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

6. The Darkest Night (Lords of The Underworld #1) – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

7. A Shade of Vampire (A Shade of Vampire#1) – 🌟🌟🌟
Next are my New Adult reads:

These two are part of a series:

8. Assumption (Underground Kings#1) by Aurora Rose Reynolds – 🌟🌟🌟🌟

9. On The Brink (In The Zone#0) by Kate Willoughby – 🌟🌟🌟.5

And lastly, my favorite so far:

10. Rendezvous With Yesterday (The Gifted Ones#2) by Dianne Duvall – 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This book is one of my anticipated releases and the wait was totally worth it.😍

How was your week friends?🙋

How do you deal with stress? With work or school related pressures?

Hopefully, a lot of great books to come for all of us!🙌💖
